Ingredients for the burger bowl
- 1 beef burger patty
- 1 spring onion, sliced
- 2 medium potatoes
- 6-8 cherry tomatoes, halved
- A handful of mixed greens (spinach, coriander, watercress)
- ½ cucumber, sliced
- 2 tablespoons crispy onions
Ingredients for the burger sauce
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- ½ teaspoon vinegar or pickle juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F). Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Toss them in a little oil, and season with salt and pepper. Place them in the air fryer basket and cook for 20-25 minutes, shaking halfway through, until they’re crispy and golden.
- While the potatoes are cooking, heat a pan or use the air fryer to cook the beef burger patty. If using the air fryer, cook at 180°C (350°F) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through. If using a pan, cook it for about 4-5 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Make sure it’s no longer pink in the center. Once done, remove it from the heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of ketchup, 1 teaspoon of mustard, and ½ teaspoon of vinegar (or pickle juice). Stir well and add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
- Assemble your bowl by adding a handful of mixed greens at the bottom. Then, add the crispy potatoes, halved cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, sliced pickles, and spring onion on top.
- Place the burger patty on top of the bowl, then drizzle the burger sauce over everything, sprinkle the crispy onions on top for extra crunch.
- Serve and enjoy your tasty burger bowl!
