Ingredients
- 180g butter
- 180g light brown sugar
- 115g granulated white sugar
- 1 egg and 1 egg yolk
- 300g plain flour
- 150g milk chocolate
- 100g dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Method
- Melt your butter in an ovenproof pan and brown the butter.
- To brown the butter, you just need to leave the melted butter on high heat until it turns brown. For me it just takes 4 extra minutes.
- Leave the butter to cool for a few minutes, then add your white and brown sugar. Mix everything with a wooden spoon.
- Add in 1 egg and 1 egg yolk and mix into your sugars with a spoon.
- Chop up your chocolate into pieces and set aside.
- Sift your plain flour into your pan and add IN some of your chocolate. Set aside around 60g of chocolate.
- Carefully fold everything together until it comes together to form a cookie dough. Press everything down with a spoon and scatter over your reserved chocolate for decoration.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream and nutella!
